My 96 Jeep Cherokee idles too fast because the cruise control servo cable is too tight, can I adjust it?(pics)?
My jeep idles around 2800 rpms, and I looked and the throttle plate doesn't close all the way because this wire to the cruise control servo is too tight. Can I adjust it or something?

from the look of your first picture, it looks like the cable guard for that cruise control cable is not pushed all the way into that bracket to the left of your finger. Try seating that all the way in first.
As for adjusting the length of that cable, I didn't see any possible way of doing so. If it is possible, you would need to dis-assemble the cruise control servo and do it from the inside of it.
