Essential Items For Your Wardrobe
You do not have to spend all of your pay check in order to look fashionable and up to date. In fact, it is best if you avoid following all the fashions that come out or you are likely to look like a fashion tragic rather than a fashionista. By choosing the pieces that you buy carefully and making smart choices about which items you should spend money on you can save yourself a lot of cash.
A girl can never go wrong with a wardrobe full of different styles of girls t shirts. Different styles and colors give you a pile of casual dressing options and can be dressed up with different accessories, handbags and shoes. Never go for shirts that have either cartoon characters or slogans on them. These are dated and make you look fadish and childish at best.
Go out and get a collection of scarves - they are super versatile and can be used as head wear, accessories, sarongs at the beach, belts and so on. Every girl should also have a pashmina in her closet to fling around her shoulders when the mercury drops and she needs to cover herself.
For the cooler months, you will never go wrong with a pair of good quality brown boots - have a pair of knee-high and ankle boots in your cupboard and these will last you season after season of constant wear. They can be used for work, going out, casually or any other situation you find yourself in and they are so warm.
You can economize on some things in your wardrobe, but you should never go for cheap pants. It is important to get a good cut in your pants otherwise they can make your figure look atrocious. A bootleg cut is flattering on most people, especially women who have hips. Slimline look good on some women, but if you have curves, then stay away from them.
If you can only afford to buy one bag this season, then tote handbags are the choice for you. They can be used in just about every situation as they look cool and casual, but stylish. The advantage of these is that they can fit in lots of stuff which makes them very versatile.
Dressing well is not necessarily about having a million and one choices in your wardrobe, but choosing pieces carefully so that you get a lot of wear out of them and they don't become dated or uncool too quickly. Go for good quality shoes and pants and you can opt for cheaper shirts and replace them seasonally.
Different Shoes for Orthotics?
I've recently gotten full length orthotics. I've found a good pair of runner that accomodate them well, but a lot of the more urban/slimline sport shoes are too small for them. Are getting an extra half-length orthotics a good idea so I can still wear a wide variety of shoes? I'm really restricted as to what I can buy now.
I don't understand why you can't find shoes with your orthotics. They do have to be a whole size or so larger than you are used to, though, which can be off-putting.
Your orthotics aren't longer than your feet, are they? If so, they can be trimmed. Or they may be too wide for dress shoes. My podiatrist made mine a bit narrower than I like, so they will fit into dress shoes; but they aren't quite right for running shoes.
