my 22 inch wheels are rubbing my control arm, please help?
i purchased some wheels for my magnum. i bought it from a private sale. i threw it on the front and the bolt pattern fit, so i bought it. i got home and put all four on and started to drive. drove about 5 feet and it was rubbing hard. looked under the front wheel well and the inner part of the rim it touching to control arm! i know i got the wrong offset now from parts stores telling me. do you think wheel adaptor are safe? cant return the rims. please help me thanks
Sorry to hear you wasted money on oversized tires. Next time you should do all your math first. If you can find adapters, yes they are safe. I would advise periodically checking the torque of the wheel nuts, once a month if you find adapters that work.
